From the 1881 Census Adah Newlove was 16 years old unattached born at Middleton. Her occupation was Domestic Servant. She was the daughter of Sar ah Newlove and they lived at North End, Middleton on the Wolds.

From 1891 Census lived at Fimber. Born Goodmanham. Aged 26 years.

Died from Typhoid Feaver when Thomas William Elvidge her son was a you ng man.

My Mum said that according to my Grandfather, his mother Ada Newlove died when she was 39 years old of Typhoid.

Billy Holtby was in the Home Guard and was shot accidently by another m an who was fooling around.

Wright, Elizabeth (b. 17 MAR 1849, d. 27 DEC 1930)
Note: Christened 8 April 1849 at St. Thomas Church, Stockton-on-Tees.

In earlier life occupation was as Dressmaker.

1901 Census Thornaby. Elizabeth Butler, wife, aged 52 years, born Thornaby. Lived at 107 Thornaby Road, Thornaby.

Sometime after husband died in 1899 Elizabeth ran a Fried Fish shop on the corner of Gilmore Street and Spring Street in Thornaby.

Elizabeth had two pairs of twins and one set of triplets. Information from Rose Allsop who was Lilly Butler's daughter. Only one pair of twins survived Jesse Butler and John Albert Butler.

Elizabeth Wright died 27 December 1930 at Thornaby.

Stockton Roots Burial Records: Elizabeth Butler buried at Thornaby Cemetery on 30/12/1930 age 81.
